Researcher will be responsible to work with R&D team to study polymeric materials and sealants used in various applications across Saint-Gobain products portfolio.
Good understanding of polymer processing techniques like extrusion, mixing, lamination.
Good at structure property relationship for thermoplastics and thermosets.
Good understanding of different curing chemistries.
Good and demonstrated understanding in compounding, preferably uPVC and silicone.
Good understanding on characterization techniques.
Prior experience in accelerated weathering tests is an advantage.
Understanding of glass lamination process is a plus.
Should have hands-on approach towards research. Should be a self-starter.
Should be a good record keeper and follow the Saint-Gobain norms in data management.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize the work and plan accordingly.
Demonstrate agility and project execution.
Should be able to work with minimum supervision.
Good oral, written communication skill.
Ability to write technical reports/ memo and present the work in PowerPoint presentation/ poster presentation is must.
Proficient in using MS office suit. Ability to use PowerBI/ DOE software is an advantage

Fresh Ph.D/ M.Tech/ M.S - Material science/ Polymer with 4-5 years of relevant experience Minimum years of industrial experience: 4-5 years
Follow EHS protocols and 5S
Working experience in a chemical lab.
Hands-on experience in characterizations.
Should be able to derive information independently by analyzing the results, preferable, FTIR, TGA, DSC, Mechanical properties.
