Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Database Management: Design, develop, and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs or issues in web applications, performing regular testing and optimization.
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure our applications are current and secure.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs for various third-party services and applications.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all projects and codebases.
Other Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1.5 to 2 year of professional experience in PHP development.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in PHP, with a strong understanding of its frameworks (such as Laravel or CodeIgniter).
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages (e.g., MySQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
- Experience with web CMS such as WordPress.
