Responsibilities

1. Testing and Quality Assurance:
   • Perform functional, regression, and usability testing for web applications.
   • Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
2. Test Case Development:
   • Write, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
   • Maintain and update test documentation as the application evolves.
3. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
   • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings.
4. Automation:
   • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for routine tests (if applicable).
   • Utilize testing tools for performance and load testing.
5. Performance Monitoring:
   • Test the web application across different browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility.
   • Monitor website performance and identify areas for optimization.
6. Quality Metrics and Reporting:
   • Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect rates, and application stability.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in web application testing.
• Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, Postman, or similar.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web development concepts.
• Experience testing responsive web designs across multiple browsers and devices.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of Agile development practices.

Good to have

• Exposure to automation frameworks like TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
