Responsibilities
• Analyse business needs to design, develop, and deliver applications to meet business objectives.
• Responsible for investigating and resolving issues, and increasing the accuracy of our OCR
processes which are built using Python language
• Analyze large datasets, identifying and adding new entities, and ensuring the seamless
transmission of data.
• Manage and execute OCR-related tasks to analyze and process large volumes of claims data,
including resolving data extraction related issues.
• Provide application maintenance and support in accordance with Service Level Agreement
• Deliver applications in accordance with relevant IT policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain Python applications with a focus on OCR integration.
• Implement and optimize OCR solutions to extract text from images and documents.
• Integrate OCR technologies with other software components and systems.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Test and debug programs to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest OCR technologies and best practices.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data processed through OCR systems.
Other Requirements
• Experience in programming languages mainly python.
• Strong understanding of OCR solutions and tools.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies Azure/AWS.
• Able to understand business problems, connect to technological solutions & customer delivery
focus.
• Excellent communication and problem analysis skill.
• Works well in a dynamic environment.
• Analyze extensive datasets to increase the OCR coverage.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in the OCR process that prevent accurate data extraction.
• Proven experience as a Python Developer
• Strong knowledge of OCR technologies and libraries (e.g., Tesseract, OpenCV)
• Experience with image processing and manipulation.
• Continuously monitor OCR processes and systems, and address and fix any issues that arise
during regular operations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for OCR solutions, including design
specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Working Experience
• 4-8 years in designing and developing and support applications with minimum of 4 years on OCR
deliverables etc.
Professional Qualifications
• Proven experience in OCR technology and data extraction.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning
Education:
• Any Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent
Language
• Fluent written and spoken English.
