Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and provide necessary information to patients regarding their prescriptions.
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
• Conduct thorough patient consultations to address questions and provide guidance on medication usage.
• Monitor patient health progress and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective treatment plans.
• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory to ensure availability of essential medications.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements in the pharmacy practice.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmaceutical science and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A valid license to practice as a pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Strong proficiency in Pharmacology, including drug classifications and mechanisms of action.
• Expertise in Medication Therapy Management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ability to counsel patients effectively about medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Law and Ethics to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in Pharmaceutical Calculations for accurate medication dispensing.
• Understanding of Healthcare Regulations to maintain high standards of practice.
