Responsibilities

• As a Linux Server Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of Linux servers. 
• Your duties will include troubleshooting server issues, performing regular maintenance tasks, writing and implementing shell scripts, configuring and managing HTTP services, and monitoring and optimizing MySQL databases. 
• You will need to have a strong understanding of Linux systems and be skilled in server management practices.
•  Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the security and stability of the servers, as well as collaborating with other team members on various projects. 
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Other Requirements

• Working experience with SMPP protocol, SMS Gateway like Kannel. Good SMPP knowledge.
• Understanding HTTP connectivity, Caching, Web Services.
• Resolving & Optimization of Server for optimal performance.
• Should be well versed with CentOS, Apache, MySQL Data Base Management.
• Good Understanding with Routers, Switching, DNS, Hardware & Software Firewalls.
• Knowledge in Shell Scripting, Security Fixes, Virtualization, Monitoring Tools.
• HTTP & Proxy Based Load Balancing to server huge web requests.
•  Must have sound knowledge in CentOS, Server Administration, Linux, MySQL Database Administration and should be Red Hat certified.

• We are looking for a full time Linux Admin with ONLY 1+ experience.
• Performing different backup mechanisms (System Full Backup, Hourly Backup for critical DBs, Mirroring) to a remote server.
•  Protect the servers from phishing, DOS, and other kinds of attacks. Keep the load distribution across the server in good health and help developers in tracking rogue code.
• Write automation scripts to do routine server management activities.
• Remote support may be needed during after office timings/holidays if the requirement is critical.
