Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend architectures.

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.

• Inspire and mentor junior developers to produce excellent code and follow engineering best practices

• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to build robust systems and seamless data flows

• Take complete ownership of product features — from design to deployment

• Ensure top-notch performance and experience for both internal engineers and external users.Build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable client-facing and internal APIs

• Writing unit-tests code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

• Take ownership of product/features: end to end development with testing

Other Requirements

• 1- 3+ years of intense experience writing production backend services at scale

• Good understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design and Databases

• Deep understanding of SQL database architecture - data modelling and scalable schema design

• Working knowledge of message queues, NoSQL databases & caching systems

• Good understanding of cloud platform (AWS or GCP) and building services for scale

• Bonus points for experience with Java, Nodejs,Typescript, Lending or Payments domain
