Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, social media, advertising, training, or other purposes.
• Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film.
• Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as needed.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video projects.
• Collaborate with creative teams, directors, or clients to understand the vision and deliver accordingly.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software tools.
• Manage and organize video assets and project files.

Other Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
• Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
• Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work.

Good to have

• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
• Experience with color grading and sound design.
• Familiarity with different video formats and compression techniques.
• Background in film studies, media production, or a related field (optional).
