Responsibilities

The Maintenance and Utilities Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and operation of utility systems within a facility, ensuring their efficient and reliable functioning. This role involves managing a team, implementing preventive maintenance programs, addressing issues promptly, and optimizing resource usage.

• Overseeing Utility Systems: Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of utility systems, including water, electricity, HVAC, and other related systems.
  
• Team Supervision: Supervises and leads a maintenance team, including technicians and contractors, ensuring they are well-trained and properly equipped.
  
• Preventive Maintenance: Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure longevity.
  
• Issue Resolution: Addresses maintenance issues promptly, conducts inspections, and coordinates repairs to minimize disruptions.
  
• Resource and Budget Management: Manages budgets, resources, and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks, while exploring opportunities to optimize energy usage and reduce costs.
  
• Safety Compliance: Ensures compliance with safety regulations and maintains a safe working environment.
  
• Expense Tracking: Manages and tracks maintenance budgets and expenses.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 20+ years of experience in Machine Shop Maintenance (HMC, VMC) from a manufacturing background.
• Must be capable of handling utility maintenance and plant maintenance.
• Very strong in both Electrical Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other related areas.
