Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions using XML, XSD, XPath, Schematron, and XQuery

• Work with HTML and implement data modeling and manipulation techniques

• Develop software using C#, VB, ASP.NET; Java experience is a plus

• Collaborate with teams to work on MSSQL and MySQL databases

• Use XML tools such as Oxygen, Saxon, BaseX, or Xalan for processing and validation

• Support content conversion and transformation projects

• Follow best practices including code coverage, test coverage, gated check-ins, and CI/CD pipelines

• Participate in Agile processes (Scrum or Kanban), contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver high-quality output

• Engage in knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team

Other Requirements

• Experience in XML technologies such as XML, XSD, XPath, Schematron and XQuery
• Experience with HTML
• Good understanding on data modeling and manipulation techniques
• Experience working on Windows and Linux operating systems
• Ability to work with complex data models
• Experience in C# VB and ASP.NET; Java knowledge is an asset
• Experience in MSSQL and MySQL an asset
• Experience in any of the XML tools is an asset: Oxygen/Saxon/BaseX/Xalan
• Content conversation experience would be an asset
• Familiar with industry best practices such as Code Coverage, Test coverage, Gated check-ins, Continuous Integration
• Good knowledge on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban - Anyone would be preferable)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Development experience with programming languages
