Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest.
• Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, URLs, image alt tags, and internal linking.
• Perform technical SEO audits and recommend actionable improvements to site structure, crawlability, indexation, page speed, mobile usability, and more.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO tools.
• Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into blog posts, landing pages, and service pages.
• Develop and manage link-building strategies, including guest posting, outreach, and digital PR efforts.
• Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
• Prepare SEO reports with clear insights and communicate them effectively to internal teams or clients.
• Work with developers to implement technical recommendations such as schema markup, canonical tags, and redirects.

Other Requirements

• 3 plus years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably in a B2B or IT services environment.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills— ability to explain SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics or experience working with developers.
• Certification in SEO/Digital Marketing (e.g., HubSpot SEO, Google Analytics, Moz) is a plus.
