Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js
• Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs
• Integrate with front-end components and third-party services
• Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers
• Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
• Write clear documentation for internal and external use

Other Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or any NoSQL/SQL database
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JWT authentication, and OAuth
• Understanding of MVC architecture and asynchronous programming
• Experience with Git and version control
• Knowledge of deployment tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.) is a plus
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) is an advantage
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
