Responsibilities

  1. Team Oversight:

    • Manage and oversee the daily activities of the sales and customer service team.
    • Ensure that team members are meeting performance expectations.
  2. Sales Performance:

    • Set sales targets and objectives for the team.
    • Monitor individual and team sales performance and take corrective actions as needed.
  3. Customer Satisfaction:

    • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction levels by addressing customer feedback and concerns.
    • Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
  4. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing training for team members.
    • Ensure that team members are knowledgeable about products and sales techniques.
  5. Collaboration with Other Departments:

    • Collaborate with other departments, such as service and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Coordinate with upper management on overall dealership strategies.
  6. Operational Efficiency:

    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements within the team.
    • Implement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  7. Reporting:

    • Generate and analyze reports on team performance and sales metrics.
    • Provide regular updates to upper management.
  8. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

    • Utilize CRM systems to manage customer information and interactions.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  9. Inventory Management:

    • Work with the team to manage vehicle inventory effectively.
    • Collaborate with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels.
  10. Compliance:

    • Ensure that the team adheres to dealership policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting automotive sales.
  11. Promotions and Marketing:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and marketing strategies.
    • Ensure that the team is effectively promoting ongoing sales and special offers.
  12. Budget Management:

    • Work within budgetary constraints and contribute to budget planning.
    • Monitor team expenditures and report on financial performance.
