Responsibilities

● Lead a team of 3-5 members responsible for monthly book closure, revenue accounting, procure to payment (P2P), tax compliance and banking operations
● Ensure timely book closure every month for MIS preparation
● Ensure review of GL balances prior to book closure
● Drive revenue calculation and reporting process to facilitate timely closure of books every month
● Publish revenue related dashboards with agreed timelines
● Lead P2P process and ensure adherence to the SOP
● Negotiate commercial arrangement with vendors and review agreements
● Set up new controls to mitigate risks
● Manage GST and Income Tax compliances, ensure timely filing of all statutory returns
● Manage Banking operations, publish Cashflow and Liquidity reports as per agreed timelines
● Systems & Processes would be an integral part of the role; ability to set up systems and establish robust and scalable processes with the appropriate risk mitigation to be put into place.
● Mentor team members and guiding them in meeting team’s objective

Other Requirements

​● CA with 3-6 years of experience
● Experience of leading team of 3-5 members
● Experience in controllership profile in a startup (Preferred 2 years)
● Practical knowledge of Ind AS and IGAAP
● Experience in handling AP, AR and Tax functions
● Experience of driving Revenue recognition process
● Practical knowledge of GST and Income Tax regulations
● Basic understanding of Banking operations, Mutual funds
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
