Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Configure and maintain cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools like Terraform and Ansible for consistent and reproducible infrastructure management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using Grafana, Prometheus, and other monitoring tools.
• Automate and streamline operations using scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to establish best practices for build, deployment, and release processes.
• Ensure system security, performance, and availability through proactive monitoring and optimization.
• Document and maintain operational procedures, best practices, and knowledge base for DevOps tools and processes.

Other Requirements

• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Containerization: Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications.
• Programming & Scripting Languages: Experience with Python and scripting languages (Bash).
• Version Control: Solid experience with Git for version control.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for managing infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Logging: Proficiency in using monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

Good to have

• Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in security best practices for cloud environments.
