Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop, document, and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for new and existing software.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated tests to ensure product functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Test Case Design & Execution: Design and execute test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Defect Identification & Tracking: Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering best practices in testing, automation, and quality assurance.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Performance Testing: Lead efforts in stress and performance testing to ensure that the software can handle high traffic and heavy use.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test processes, results, and defect reports.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
• 5+ years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, and Page Object Model (POM) design patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
• Skilled in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman and SwaggerUI
• Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write and execute complex queries
• Understanding of JSON structures and ability to create, edit, and apply them in testing
• Experience in Agile environments and Data-Driven Testing
• Proven ability to build test automation frameworks from scratch for Web Applications
• Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize, work on parallel tasks, and deliver high-quality results under deadlines
