Responsibilities

• The SAP PP & QM Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production planning and quality management processes. 
• Responsibilities include working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, configuring SAP systems to meet business needs, providing training and support to end users, and conducting system testing to ensure functionality. 
• The consultant is also responsible for identifying areas for process improvement, recommending solutions, and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency. 
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential in fulfilling these responsibilities effectively.

Other Requirements

• SAP PP/QM Expertise: Minimum of 7–8 years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).
• End-to-End Implementations: At least two full-cycle SAP implementations completed, demonstrating expertise in project lifecycles.
• Core Functional Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) processes.
• Expertise in handling Planned Orders, Production Orders, and Master Data (including Bill of Materials, Work Centers, Routing and Production version etc.).
• Proven experience with Discrete Manufacturing processes.

Good to have

• Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration between SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, WM, and FI/CO) is preferred.
• WM/Handling Unit Management: Experience with Warehouse Management (WM) and Handling Unit Management (HUM) is an advantage.
