Responsibilities

1. Machine Shop Manager oversees the daily operations, personnel and production processes within the machine shop, ensuring efficiency and safety operations while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals.

2. Responsible for meeting immediate and short term objectives (Monthly, Bi-weekly, Weekly, Daily).

3. To Control cost of Production Tools & Consumables, Factory supplies with respect to budget.

4. To maintain CNC program, Fixtures and to develop new product machining.

Effective man power utilization and efficiency level.

5. To follow up with inter departments like Sub contract, Stores, PPC, Purchase for smooth flow of production.

6. Improvements related to Safety, Morale, Operative training and absenteeism rate.

7. Zero Non-compliance from III Party Auditors / Internal auditors / Implementation of Policies & Procedures.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in CNC Machine shop and quality systems.
• Oversee production processes, implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and manage team performance.

Education

• UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical
