Responsibilities
• Develop end-to-end solutions: You design and implement customized Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions on the Salesforce Core platform (Lightning Experience).
• Implement backend logic: You write Apex classes, triggers and Lightning Web Components (LWC) and integrate with external systems via REST, SOAP or GraphQL APIs.
• Build user interfaces: You develop responsive e-commerce frontends using LWC, standard UI components and custom business logic – and occasionally as headless frontends based on modern web technologies.
• Integrate enterprise systems: You connect third-party services (e.g. payment, analytics, marketing automation) and backend systems such as ERP, PIM, WMS, OMS or CMS.
• Optimize performance: You assess the scalability and performance of your solutions, optimize algorithms and consider platform limits and best practices.
• Work collaboratively: You contribute to testing, deployment and documentation processes in agile project setups – together with teams in Germany and India.
Other Requirements
• Professional experience: 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development, ideally in B2B Commerce projects.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Salesforce expertise: Solid knowledge of Salesforce B2B Commerce (formerly CloudCraze), Lightning Experience and ideally also B2C Commerce.
• Platform knowledge: Familiarity with the Salesforce data model and core Sales/Service Cloud functionalities.
• Technical skills: Proficient in Apex, JavaScript, TypeScript, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL and HTML; experience with tools like IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code. Experience with headless architectures and frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js is a plus.
• Integration know-how: Experience with REST, SOAP and GraphQL APIs; knowledge of integration patterns and system architecture.
• Development workflow: Familiar with Git-based version control and agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I or B2B Commerce Developer certifications are a plus.
• Communication: Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken); experience in remote or international collaboration is an advantage.
