Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications to understand functional and technical requirements.

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Work closely with the development and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and monitor debugging processes.

• Ensure retesting of resolved issues and maintain accurate test documentation.

• Prepare and present comprehensive test result reports and defect analysis updates.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.

• Experience with QA tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, Postman).

• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying quality issues.

Good to have

• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools.

• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
