Responsibilities

1. Inventory Control:

Monitoring stock levels regularly and ensuring optimal levels of products are maintained.

Conducting periodic inventory counts (cycle counts, year-end inventories).

Managing stock rotation and reducing wastage by minimizing overstock or obsolete stock.

2. Supply Chain Coordination:

Coordinating with suppliers to place orders and replenish stock when required.

Ensuring timely deliveries and checking the quality and quantity of received products.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting:

Using stock management systems to track and analyze stock movements.

Preparing reports on stock levels, sales trends, and forecasts to inform purchasing decisions.

4. Warehouse Management:

Ensuring efficient storage of products, managing warehouse staff, and optimizing warehouse operations.

Setting up and managing warehouse layout for easy access and stock handling.

5. Demand Forecasting:

Collaborating with sales and production teams to forecast demand based on historical data and market trends.

6. Cost Control:

Identifying cost-saving opportunities by managing stock efficiently.

Negotiating with suppliers for better prices and terms.

7. Compliance:

Ensuring that stock handling complies with company policies and industry regulations, such as safety and health standards.


Other Requirements

  • Proficiency in inventory management software (like SAP, Oracle, etc.).
