Responsibilities

  • Advise students in individual or group counselling sessions to address their academic, personal and convert the leads into admission.
  • Assist in advising on course selection, application process, financial aid options and .
  • Evaluate students on their competencies, interests and ambitions to identify suitable academic and professional pathways
  • Assist in preparatory activities, such as academic scheduling and course selection
  • Inform students about their academic and professional options, including but not limited to courses, majors and programmes that may facilitate their goals

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Minimum experience of 1 year in education counselling, BDE for academic institution or a related role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of educational best practices, learning theory and counselling techniques.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with students and other stakeholders.
  • Passion for education, commitment to equity and a desire to positively impact students’ lives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with students and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and educational software.
  • Ability to assess complex situations, identify problems and develop practical solutions.
