Responsibilities

1. Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic matters, such as course selection, degree planning, and career exploration.
2. Help students to identify and overcome academic challenges, such as learning difficulties, time management, and motivation.
3. Outbound calls to leads provided by the management and follow ups on these.
4. Develop and implement academic support programs and services to promote student success and retention.
5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and support students who are at risk of academic difficulty.
6. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and counselling sessions.
7. Stay up-to-date with university policies, procedures, and programs, and communicate this information to students.
8. Participate in university events, such as orientation, open houses, and career fairs.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with university departments, such as Admissions, Registrar, and Student Life.
10. Strong public speaking skills for conducting presentations and workshops.
11. Monitor students progress and provide support for academic challenges.

Other Requirements

1.Any degree in Counselling, Education, or a related field.
2.1+ years of experience in academic counselling or a related field. Freshers are also prefered.
3.Strong knowledge of academic advising principles, practices, and the technologies.
4.Excellent communication, Presentation interpersonal, and counselling skills.
5.Ability to work with diverse student populations, including international students, students with disabilities, and students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
6.Strong organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills.
7.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information.
