Responsibilities

• Responsible for warranty decision for the product defects reported to workshop
• Detail reporting of complaint, investigation and rectification for vehicles under warranty
• Coordinate with DICV AO for required approvals for warranty claims
• Warranty failed parts tagging and storage in workshop
• Dispatch of all the failed parts to DICV on request
• Failed parts scrapping in presence of DICV representative
• Ensure disposal of failed parts scrap
• Follow up with DICV for warranty claim settlement & reimbursement
• Upkeep of warranty claim documents for regular dealer audits
• Coordinate with proprietary parts dealers and service centers for their respective parts warranty claim
• Update workshop personnel on latest warranty policy changes

• Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Proficient in maintaining accurate records of warranty claims, repairs, replacements, and customer interactions.
  • Experience with documenting all actions taken in the warranty process to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Ability to manage a warranty database and track warranty claims.

• Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

  • Strong coordination skills with vendors, service providers, and suppliers for warranty repairs or replacements.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with third-party service centers and suppliers regarding warranty terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and product issues.

• Attention to Detail:

  • High attention to detail in reviewing warranty terms, product defects, and claims.
  • Ability to assess products accurately and follow precise procedures for processing claims.
