Responsibilities

• Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards using SAP B1 tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SAP B1 dashboards.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data requirements and develop appropriate SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve data from SAP B1 databases.
• Customization: Customize SAP B1 reports and layouts based on user requirements and business processes.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for report-related issues to ensure efficient and accurate reporting solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including data mappings, report specifications, and user guides.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability before deployment.
• User Training: Train end-users on report usage and functionality, providing guidance on how to generate and interpret data effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize report performance by tuning SQL queries and report designs for efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving existing reporting solutions and recommend enhancements.

Other Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SAP B1 Technical Consultant with a focus on report development.
• Proven experience in developing reports using Crystal Reports, SQL, and SAP B1’s reporting tools.
