Responsibilities
- Support the company in creating an effective FP&A function to drive a robust Financial Planning & Analysis process in support of the strategy of the company
- Strengthen and grow relationships within the company to create a robust FP&A process
- Assist in streamlining and improving the Financial Analysis and Reporting process
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting
- Coordinate the financial planning activities primarily budgeting and forecasting for the company ensuring that such planning and delivery will be based on robust assumptions & projections and delivery in line with the approved timelines
- Bring sound commercial challenge to the business planning / budgeting process
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packs for all entities and adhoc analysis as required
- Complete monthly financial analysis identifying and understanding variances and risks to the budget and discussions with the management
- Support and work on projects that will drive value in the business
- Assist in the creation and delivery of KPI reporting
- Ensuring effective and timely communication within the department and across the business regarding financial and business related matters
- Responsible for adherence to financial & accounting policies and operating procedures framed by the company
- To assist Finance Manager in timely closure of all audits e.g. Statutory, Internal and Tax audits
- Maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with team members and other departments / staff by demonstrating productivity, initiative, flexibility, cooperation, and commitment to the success of Finance team
