Responsibilities

• Procurement & Inventory Management:
• Source, negotiate, and purchase fitness equipment, accessories, and maintenance supplies.
• Establish relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all fitness equipment, accessories, and consumables.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
• Maintenance & Equipment Management:
• Ensure regular inspection and preventive maintenance of gym equipment to avoid breakdowns.
• Coordinate and supervise repairs, replacements, and servicing of fitness equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor issues related to plumbing, electrical works, and general upkeep of the facility.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety and hygiene standards.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination:
• Liaise with external service providers for major equipment repairs or technical support.
• Negotiate maintenance contracts for equipment and facility upkeep.
• Budgeting & Cost Control:
• Develop and manage the purchase and maintenance budget.
• Track expenses, ensuring cost control and efficient spending.

Other Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, maintenance, and vendor management, preferably within the fitness industry.
• Knowledge of gym equipment, facility maintenance, and related technical skills.
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Good to have

• Diploma or certification in maintenance or related field.
• Prior experience in fitness centers or gyms is a plus.
