• As a Cost Accountant, the responsibilities of this role include overseeing cost management activities, utilizing accounting skills to analyze financial data, implementing costing principles to accurately track and allocate expenses, and leveraging Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis. 
• The Cost Accountant will play a critical role in evaluating and controlling costs to improve profitability and make informed business decisions.

Other Requirements

• Qualified cost and management accountant with the bachelor's degree either in commerce or in engineering. 
• 3 to 4 years of experience post qualification. 
• Experience in designing costing systems for product base companies.
•  FMCG experience is important. 
• Exposure to manufacturing as well as trading operations and costing their of is crucial. 
• Should be adept at Excel. Location is based in Bangalore. 
• Should have solid command over costing principles both standard variable and marginal costing as it applies to dynamic product costing in FMCG industry. 
• Exposure to costing and pricing plans for future product releases and making recommendations to management is a plus.
