Responsibilities
Candy Software Implementation & Support
- Configure and maintain Candy CCS for estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
- Set up standard templates, libraries, and cost databases.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
2. Estimation & Tendering Support
- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates using Candy.
- Develop BOQs, resource build-ups, pricing schedules, and rate analysis.
- Support tender submissions, revisions, and value engineering exercises.
3. Project Cost Control
- Set up project budgets, cost codes, and cost tracking structures.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate cost data, historical project records, and benchmarks.
- Generate management reports for project teams and leadership.
- Ensure data consistency between Candy and other systems (ERP, Excel, Planning tools).
5. Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Train QS, planners, and engineers on Candy usage.
- Develop user manuals, SOPs, and best-practice guidelines.
- Act as internal subject-matter expert for Candy.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Planning (Primavera/MS Project) for cost-time integration.
- Support claims, variations, and change order costing.
- Assist in audits, commercial reviews, and financial close-out.
- Recommend process improvements and digital enhancements.
Other Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Candy (CCS) software.
Proven experience in:
- Estimation & BOQ preparation
- Project cost control and budgeting
- Tendering for construction or infrastructure projects
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Candy CCS
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cost estimation methodologies
- BOQ measurement standards
- Rate analysis and resource build-ups
- Good working knowledge of:
- MS Excel (advanced)
- ERP or accounting systems (preferred)
- Planning tools (Primavera / MS Project – added advantage)
