Responsibilities

• A senior developer resource having experience in design, development, and implementation of backend solutions using NestJS.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in Node.js and NestJS development.
• Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines.
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of our applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Stays updated on emerging technologies and trends in Node.js and NestJS development, and incorporate them into our projects as appropriate.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Node.js development, with proficiency in NestJS.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with micro services architecture and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
