Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient assistance to customers over various communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints, inquiries, and issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Product/Service Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s products or services to offer accurate information and solutions to customers.

  • Order Processing: Assist customers with placing, modifying, or canceling orders, processing returns, and handling refunds or exchanges.

  • Documentation: Record customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in the company's CRM system or database to ensure accurate records and follow-up.

  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers to help improve products, services, and customer experience.

  • Promotions & Offers: Communicate current promotions, discounts, and product offers to customers, encouraging engagement and sales.

  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant products or services that align with customer needs.

  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical support for products or services, guiding customers through troubleshooting processes if applicable.

  • Collaborate with Other Teams: Work with other departments (e.g., sales, technical support, logistics) to ensure customer needs are met and issues are addressed.

  • Follow-Up: Ensure that any open customer queries are followed up in a timely manner, providing updates on progress or resolutions.

  • Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while dealing with customer interactions and transactions.


Other Requirements

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers in both verbal and written forms.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and provide practical solutions quickly.

  • Patience & Empathy: Understanding and compassionate approach towards customers, especially when dealing with complaints or difficult situations.

  • Active Listening: Ability to listen attentively to customers, understand their needs, and respond appropriately.

  • Time Management: Efficient in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing customer needs, while ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other tools used for customer service (chat software, helpdesk systems).

  • Multitasking: Capable of managing several inquiries or tasks simultaneously without compromising quality of service.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure that all customer information and interactions are accurately recorded and processed.
