Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning and growth.

Other Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and its quirks.
• Experience in working on Unit testing libraries such as JEST, MOCHA is plus
• Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient understanding of Git and version control tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
