Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for calibration services and products in assigned regions or markets.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, including laboratories, manufacturing units, and service centers.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to highlight the value and benefits of the calibration services and products.
    • Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Technical Consultation and Support:

    • Provide technical advice to customers on calibration equipment, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
    • Analyze customer requirements and offer tailored calibration solutions that meet their specific needs and budget.
    • Offer on-site support, including calibrations, troubleshooting, and operational guidance.
  • Market Research and Reporting:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to stay informed of the latest industry developments.
    • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management, ensuring transparency and alignment with sales goals.
    • Track and analyze sales activities, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to senior management.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in calibration technology and equipment.
    • Participate in product training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and ensure effective communication with clients.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their understanding of calibration products and services.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle, from inquiry to post-sales support.
    • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups and ensure that clients receive exceptional service and support.
  • Sales Negotiation and Closing:

    • Lead sales negotiations, prepare proposals, and provide quotations to clients based on their calibration needs.
    • Close sales and finalize contracts, ensuring that terms and conditions are clearly defined and aligned with company policies.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Work closely with internal teams such as technical support, service, and operations to ensure smooth delivery of services and solutions to clients.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective promotional strategies and campaigns for calibration products and services.

Other Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of calibration equipment, processes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025).
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical inquiries.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other relevant tools.
