Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s growth objectives for the banking and insurance sectors.
- Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Set clear goals and performance targets for the sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales talent, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in a competitive market.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing coaching and feedback to help team members grow and excel.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders in the banking and insurance sectors.
- Lead high-level negotiations and collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients, increasing revenue generation.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to track progress toward goals and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, offering insights into market trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Leverage data to make informed decisions and optimize sales processes.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment in the delivery of solutions and services to clients.
- Collaborate on product development, pricing, and promotional strategies that meet the needs of the banking and insurance industries.
- Represent the sales team in cross-functional meetings to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Industry Leadership:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, regulations, and technological innovations in the banking and insurance industries.
- Position the company as a thought leader in the sector, participating in relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Other Requirements
• 10 years of proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the Banking or Insurance industry.
• Experience handling 100+ FTE's in BPO or Call Centre setup
• Achievement Oriented and Target driven.
• Experience in handling a team.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
