Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases using Selenium, Java, and POM frameworks.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub).
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Postman and SwaggerUI.
- Validate backend data with SQL queries and perform data-driven testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects; provide detailed QA reports and test coverage metrics.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous process and framework improvements
Other Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer
- Automation Tools: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit
- Programming: Java (strong hands-on experience)
- Frameworks: Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven Testing
- CI/CD & Version Control: Jenkins, GitHub, Git
- API Testing: Postman, SwaggerUI, RESTful API validation
- Databases: SQL (complex queries, joins, data validation)
- Test Management: Jira, TestRail (or equivalent)
- Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives
- Other Skills: JSON handling, defect lifecycle management, communication, teamwork, and multitasking under deadline
