Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and reporting activities.
• Oversee statutory and internal audits.
• Recruit, train and lead a core team capable of achieving the verticals' objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency and accountability.
• Implementation of best practices in financial accounting & reporting.
• Manage working capital efficiently.
• Present accurate financial health assessments and strategic project insights to management.
• Budget management and expenditure controls.
• Establish and maintain best-in-class internal control systems, ensuring strict compliance and corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify granular business drivers for each financial head and implement strict tracking and tracing capabilities within the company.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts. Represent the company at industry events and forums to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate current business KPIs critically on a daily basis.

Other Requirements

• Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of post-qualification experience.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
