Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process for civil engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement procedures and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms and price agreements.
  • Oversee contract management processes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, fostering partnerships that benefit the organization.
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and budget adherence.
  • Identify potential risks in procurement processes and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align procurement activities with project schedules and requirements.

  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable deals and contracts (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in project management to effectively coordinate procurement processes (Mandatory skill).
  • Min 10 years experience in building material procurement.
  • Profound knowledge of supply chain management to optimize procurement operations.
  • Adept in contract management to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Proficient in vendor management for maintaining productive supplier relationships.
  • Sound cost analysis capabilities to monitor expenditure and improve cost efficiency.
  • Strong risk assessment skills to identify and mitigate potential procurement risks.
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles to align procurement with project requirements.
