Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Central Sterile Supply Department to ensure efficiency and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of CSSD technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
• Ensure proper sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical instruments while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards for sterile processing.
• Coordinate with various hospital departments to meet their sterile supply needs promptly and effectively.
• Lead quality assurance programs to continually improve sterilization processes and patient safety.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
