Responsibilities
Target Achievement & Sales Strategy:
- Set and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual online sales targets.
- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies focused on maximizing revenue and profitability.
Sales Optimization & Marketplaces:
- Manage listings, pricing, promotions, and sales performance across e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart).
- Utilize insights from online sales trends and customer behavior to drive higher conversions and sales volume.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Regularly monitor and analyze KPIs such as conversion rates, sales growth, and customer retention to ensure targets are met.
- Generate performance reports with actionable insights to guide sales strategies and adjustments.
Customer Journey & Conversion Optimization:
- Collaborate with digital marketing to implement strategies for increasing site traffic and conversion rates.
- Oversee the entire customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience to reduce cart abandonment and drive repeat purchases.
Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination:
- Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and fulfillment efficiency.
- Ensure timely restocking based on demand forecasts, minimizing both stock-outs and excess inventory.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and implement customer retention strategies, such as loyalty programs and targeted communication, to enhance repeat business.
- Partner with customer support to address and resolve customer queries, ensuring a positive brand experience.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Lead a team responsible for e-commerce operations, content, and customer service.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to align on overall e-commerce goals and achieve sales targets.
Other Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of e-commerce sales management experience, ideally within Hygiene industry (Sanitary / Diaper) and with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and sales strategies.
- Proficient in sales forecasting, performance tracking, and digital marketing.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive results in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
