Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand material and equipment requirements
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, delivery schedules, and procurement records
- Coordinate with the legal team to ensure compliance with contractual and legal standards
- Work with finance for timely vendor and supplier payments
- Identify procurement risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
- Manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations at the site
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company procurement policies
- Maintain records for audits and internal reviews
- Provide regular procurement reports to the Project Head
Other Requirements
- Graduation/Post-Graduation in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering)
- Minimum 7 years of relevant procurement experience
- Strong understanding of procurement operations, vendor management, and budget control
- Proficiency in procurement/ERP software is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
