Responsibilities
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within construction firms, contractors, and equipment rental companies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding operational workflows and recommending tailored enterprise software solutions (ERP, asset tracking, fleet management, etc.).
- Drive the full sales lifecycle: lead generation, product demos, proposal creation, pricing negotiation, and deal closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, and implementation) to ensure client requirements are reflected in solution delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales performance data using CRM platforms and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance visibility and gather market intelligence.
- Grow strategic accounts by focusing on customer success, upsell opportunities, and renewals.
Other Requirements
Primary Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales (preferably in SaaS, ERP, or CRM domains).
- Domain knowledge of the construction industry or heavy equipment rental/logistics.
- Demonstrated success in closing complex B2B deals with long sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong grasp of digital transformation, asset lifecycle management, and field operations.
Secondary/Desirable Skills:
- Experience with construction-specific ERPs like Viewpoint, Procore, Trimble, SAP Construction.
- Familiarity with IoT, GPS tracking, or telematics technologies.
- Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
- MBA or equivalent qualification in Business or Technology Management.
- Experience in partnerships with System Integrators (SI), OEMs, or channel partners.
