Responsibilities
The agency sales manager is responsible for overseeing agency channel sales This role involves managing agents, training them, and achieving sales targets. The primary responsibilities include sales target achievement and effective team management.
Reports to: Manager – Agency
- Plan and set targets for the agent sales team.
- Develop sales strategies for various products and ensure target achievement.
- Recruit, set objectives, coach, and monitor the performance of sales representatives.
- Manage the recruitment and performance of agency channel team members.
- Train, motivate, and develop team members.
Main Responsibility:

Business Development: Develop strategic business and sales plans, initiate and coordinate development of action plans for new markets, implement marketing plans, review agent performances, and help improve sales.

Agent Recruitment: Establish new business by recruiting agents for FGII, develop and maintain relationships with them to maximize outcomes.

Training for the agents: Provide regular training to recruited agents about FGII products and processes.

MIS: Maintain records of sales and pricings, create and present proposals, control expenses to meet budget guidelines, among others.
Other Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any stream.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in agency development in General Insurance.
- Functional Skills: Very good in MS Office, Good in presentation.
