Responsibilities

• Installation:
• Install and configure ELV systems, including security cameras, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and data networks.
• Run and terminate cables and wires according to design specifications and industry standards.
• Mount and set up equipment, such as cameras, sensors, and control panels.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of ELV systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues, including faulty wiring, equipment malfunctions, and connectivity problems.
• Replace or upgrade components and equipment as necessary to maintain system performance.
• Testing and Commissioning:
• Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports and documentation for completed work and system updates.

Other Requirements

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in electrical or electronic engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of ELV systems and components, including CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and audio-visual systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

Experience:

• Prior experience in installing and maintaining ELV systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring practices is advantageous.
