The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, promoting the fitness centre’s services, and driving membership sales. Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by researching and approaching potential individual and corporate clients.
  • Sales Promotion: Promote the fitness centre’s offerings, including memberships, personal training, and group classes, to prospective customers.
  • Customer Targeting: Develop and implement strategies to target and attract both individual and corporate-level clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and meetings with prospective clients to showcase the benefits of the fitness center’s services.
  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the fitness centre.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward sales targets. Report regularly to the Sales Manager or Centre Manager.
  • Follow-Up: Provide exceptional post-sales service by following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage renewals and referrals.
  • Promotional Events: Participate in and organize events, promotions, and activities that help generate leads and increase sales.

Other Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Customer Focus: Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to match them with the fitness centre’s services.
  • Self-motivated: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in delivering presentations and pitches to potential clients.
  • Networking: Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts within the local community and corporate sectors.

Good to have

  • Industry Experience: Experience in the fitness or wellness industry, with knowledge of fitness programs and trends.
  • Corporate Sales: Experience in B2B sales, particularly in securing corporate memberships or partnerships.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
