Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for both call center and online sales channels.
- Lead the sales team in identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local & international market to acquire new business.
- Manage the Profit and Loss of the Study Abroad business segment, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Owning the complete sales closing life cycle for the leads assigned. This includes, making phone calls, product demonstration, sales closing, and post sales relationship management.
- Drive the introduction and promotion of Study Abroad products to penetrate and establish them in the market.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to ensure they meet their targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, to streamline processes and enhance post-sales service delivery.
- Liaising with the marketing team and promoting study abroad programs to students. These outlets include social media, websites, and information sessions.
- Set and monitor daily, monthly, and yearly sales targets, taking appropriate action to address any deviations.
- Develop comprehensive product information and sales collateral for student counsellors to effectively communicate with customers.
- Recommend and facilitate training sessions to equip student counsellors with product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the study abroad programs offered, as well as competitor offerings, to effectively position our products in the market.
- Analyse sales data, lead generation metrics, and revenue performance to identify areas for improvement and drive sales growth.
- Monitor the percentage of revenue generated from sales activities and take corrective measures as needed.
- In order to guarantee that students' academic and cultural objectives are met by study abroad programs, act as liaisons with international partners such as universities, colleges, and program providers.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA Preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the Study Abroad/Overseas Education industry
- Individuals who are able to understand the culture of UAE countries, India and understand the buying capacity of students from these countries would be advantageous.
- Sales bent of mind, in order to understand and effectively communicate what the abroad university is offering to its prospective learners and aligning them with the requirements.
- Passion to deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times.
