Responsibilities

1. Test Strategy & Planning: Develop, document, and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for new and existing software.
2. Manual & Automated Testing: Perform both manual and automated tests to ensure product functionality, reliability, and performance.
3. Test Case Design & Execution: Design and execute test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
4. Defect Identification & Tracking: Identify, report, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
5. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering best practices in testing, automation, and quality assurance.
6. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
8. Performance Testing: Lead efforts in stress and performance testing to ensure that the software can handle high traffic and heavy use.
9. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test processes, results, and defect reports.

Other Requirements

· BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Experienced candidates with 5+ years in both Test Automation and Manual testing and worked as Senior Quality Assurance engineer or similar role.
· In depth understanding of using and maintain test frameworks such as Selenium and Java programming and design pattern experience in Page Object Model.
· Experience using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines and code repositories with tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
· Experience to manually valid Restful APIs, Web Services, Apps, PostgreSQL using tools such as Postman and SwaggerUI.
· Knowledge and understanding of SQL syntax and ability to write SQL queries.
· Understanding the structure of JSON objects, the ability to work with them (create, edit), and apply JSON objects in different interpretations
· Experience in Agile Software Development environment with Data Driven Testing driven along with a strong knowledge of test management tools, test case management and defect tracking system.
· Hands on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch to Web Applications and strong Web Application testing experience.
· Ability to read, write, maintain, and execute both manual and automation tests.
· Contribute to the QA Guild and sharing best practices.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· In depth understanding of both manual and automation testing and show examples of learning new skills in the past.
· Proven experience in supporting, coordinating, and ensuring all releases in Production have been validated successfully.
· An innovative team member able to think outside of the box who possesses the ability to proactively identify risks and potential issues whilst having the ability to resolve them.
· An individual who can prioritise workload and can work on tasks in parallel.
· Hands on experience with aspects of both functional and non-functional test phases.
· Ability to work and collaborate in a team-based environment.
