Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in the execution of manual and automated testing processes.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and technical specifications.
• Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality releases.
• Manage and prioritize testing activities, ensuring that deadlines and project goals are met.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues through the defect tracking system.
• Perform risk assessments and make recommendations for improvements in product quality.
• Ensure that the QA team adheres to best practices and industry standards for software testing.
• Provide regular reports on testing progress, results, and defect trends to stakeholders and management.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in software testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Other Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Python, Pycharm etc.).
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of QA professionals.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of defect management and version control tools (e.g., Jira, Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and mobile testing is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Good to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Familiarity with cloud testing environments and tools
