We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle EBS R12 Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have more than five years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and be proficient in report development (both RDF and XML Publisher), Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Shell scripting. You will work closely with functional teams to design, develop, and customize Oracle EBS solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain reports using Oracle Reports (RDF) and Oracle XML Publisher.
• Design and develop customizations using Oracle Forms and Oracle Workflow to meet business needs.
• Work with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL to write complex queries, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate and streamline processes within Oracle EBS.
• Customize and extend Oracle EBS R12 AOL (Applications Object Library) objects like:

Value Sets

Concurrent Programs

Profile Options

Messages

Key Flexfields and Descriptive Flexfields.

• Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS customizations, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, and validation of customizations and updates.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle development standards and best practices.

Other Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 technical development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Reports (RDF) and XML Publisher for report development.
• Expertise in Oracle Forms and Oracle Workflow development.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Shell Scripting.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS AOL objects: Value Sets, Concurrent Programs, Profile Options, Key Flexfields, Descriptive Flexfields, and Messages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Experience in full life cycle implementations, customizations, and upgrades within Oracle EBS.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware or Oracle APEX would be a plus.
• Experience with Oracle R12.2.x environments (online patching, custom object management).
• Oracle EBS Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
