Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Translate project designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java, Kotlin, and XML.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Integrate third-party libraries and APIs.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Maintain existing codebases, including bug fixing.
Create app updates and release them periodically.
Participate in the full software development cycle, including planning, testing, and deploying applications.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Proven working experience in Android app development.
Minimum 3.5+ years of extensive and hands-on Java and Android development experience.
Experience with Android SDK.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Excellent programming skills and proficient in JavaScript, C++, and XML.
Ability to work as a team player across various verticals of the business.
Have published at least one original Android app.
A problem-solving approach to working as a mobile app developer.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3.5 +years experience in android app development.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
