We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SEZ compliances, tax filings, payroll processing, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with SEZ regulations (Softex, Serf) and handle related filings.
- Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets with accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle ESI & PF filings and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Oversee payroll preparation, including salary calculations and statutory deductions.
- Manage cash flow to ensure adequate working capital and liquidity.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify financial accuracy.
- Ensure timely TDS filing and compliance with income tax laws.
- Handle GST return filing and preparation, ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits and compliance checks.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of SEZ compliances (Softex, Serf), tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with Zoho Books is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, ESI, PF filings, and payroll processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have
- Prior experience in an SEZ company is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP accounting systems.
- Knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting.
